Preventive/Routine Care
Keystone First encourages you to get the right preventive/routine care you need. It is important that you and your family get this care to avoid getting sick. Please go to the following areas to learn more:
- Dental
Your dentist will give you regular checkups and take care of your dental care. Members who are eligible for dental services can get a routine dental exam and cleaning once every 6 months.
- Eye
All Keystone First members are eligible for a routine eye exam. Call your eye doctor to schedule an eye exam.
- Your primary care practitioner (PCP)
When you join Keystone First, you choose a PCP. Your PCP oversees your health care. He or she is responsible for taking care of your health and, when necessary, arranging care for you from other health care providers.
- Women's routine and preventative care
Keystone First covers mammograms for all women when it is ordered by the doctor. Pap tests are also covered for all women.
- Copay schedule (PDF)
For members who are 18 years or older, some services may require you to pay a co-payment.
- Care for your children - EPSDT
This special health care program, called Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT), was created to make sure that children get the medical care they need.
