Dental program

The CDC is closely monitoring the outbreak of a respiratory disease caused by a new coronavirus that was first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, and continues to spread. On February 11, 2020, the World Health Organization named the disease Coronavirus Disease 2019 (abbreviated “COVID-19”). You can find more details, including evaluation resources as well as CDC alerts and resources, in our COVID-19 dental provider announcement (PDF).

Keystone First is committed to offering a dental benefit program that ensures access to high quality oral health care. To realize our commitment to our members, providers and stakeholders, Keystone First is contracting directly with dental providers to foster closer relationships between the health plan, its participating dentists and members.

This program will:

  • Engage a closer relationship with dental providers by offering three different reimbursement methods
  • Encourage a closer relationship between members and their dental providers by developing a dental home concept for all members
  • Evaluate care patterns for consistently high quality and utilization of services
