It's hip to be healthy

Growing up includes becoming more independent and taking responsibility for your health care. The two most important ways to stay healthy are learning about your health and seeing your doctor every year.

Since you are becoming more independent, there are a lot of new responsibilities you may have. Here are just a few reminders about your well visits:

  • Keep your appointments.
  • Get recommended immunizations (shots).
  • Take your medicine the way the doctor tells you.
  • Follow the advice they give you.
  • Ask questions.
